I went with Avast because I had used Avast’s free version before, and I liked what it offered and when I checked their products, they had two paid plans to choose from, Premium and Ultimate. I had to run several scans with Defender to find anything, so I decided to get something better. I wanted to get an antivirus for my primary Windows PC that I use for work, and Windows Defender wasn’t doing too good at finding potentially unwanted programs.
